As a researcher, educator, speaker, consultant, and now author, I have been developing leaders for nearly 20 years through executive education, graduate and undergraduate courses, and academic writing. My specialties include leadership, networks and networking, diversity and inclusion, organizational behavior and management, and building effective working relationships.
My research has appeared in numerous journals, including Human Resource Management, Group Dynamics, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, and the Journal of Management Education. My 2019 book, Connect the Dots: How to Build, Nurture, and Leverage Your Network to Achieve Your Personal and Professional Goals, is now available from Information Age Publishing.
Prior to entering academia, I worked in marketing, management consulting, and project development. I am currently a professor at the William & Mary Raymond A. Mason School of Business and live with my husband and two daughters in Williamsburg, VA.
